Hello sand and hello sun 🙂

As UK people will know, we have had incredible weather the last few days and I am EXTREMELY happy for that. So, after rising temperatures and busyness during the week, a trip to the beach on Saturday was perfection.

The destination? Sea Palling, which is a tiny village on the East Norfolk coast.  It may be small but I reckon their beautiful bays and sandy stretches could give any tropical island a run for its money (maybe ignoring the freezing water temperatures, which were avoided because I did not feel like getting numb).

On the subject of tropical, has anyone been watching “The Island“?!  (Where Bear Grylls drops 13 men on a remote, uninhabited Pacific island for a month to see if they can survive).  I am going to admit that I have been watching, and enjoying it!  Mostly from a psychological perspective because I am curious to see the types of attitudes and characteristic traits that thrive when faced with adversity and the ones which don’t.  So far, it seems the individuals coping best are the ones viewing the challenges as opportunities, rather than impossible obstacles: positive attitudes for the win.

Anyway that’s enough of that.  The other great thing about Sea Palling was…..

A FUDGE STALL!  Hoping to find more of these in the future.  You just pop money into the safe, open the mini fridge and grab your sweet treat.

DELICIOUS.  Bring on summer!
